Papierfabrik Palm successfully awarded the renewal of the eco-label “Blue Angel“

The renewed award of the “Blue Angel” eco-label to Palm relates to the entire range of graphic papers from our paper mills in Eltmann (Germany) and King’s Lynn (UK).

The newsprint grade Palm News and the improved newsprint grades Palm Print, Palm Top and Palm Diamond in both coldset and heatset quality were certified. The owner of the "Blue Angel" label is the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in Berlin.

With this, Palm is committed to continuing to produce its graphic papers from 100 % recycled paper in an efficient and resourceful manner. For 40 years, the "Blue Angel" has been used to identify products and services that are comprehensively environmentally friendly.

In 1984, Papierfabrik Palm was the first German paper mill to succeed in producing high-quality newsprint paper from 100 % recycled paper. Palm was the first paper mill to be awarded the "Blue Angel" for this pioneering achievement five years later.
