The transaction was completed on 30 June 2025, following the approval by the European Commission and the French antitrust authorities.

With this acquisition, PALM strategically strengthens its position in the European corrugated packaging market and expands its geographical footprint in France, Spain and Portugal. The acquired plants will operate under the following names:

  • Palm Packaging Cabourg SAS (north-west France/Normandy)
  • Palm Packaging Mortagne SAS (north-west France/Normandy)
  • Palm Packaging Saint-Amand SAS (north-west France/Normandy)

“We are pleased that the closing was successfully completed as planned at the end of the second quarter of 2025. This was made possible thanks to the constructive collaboration of all parties involved,” said Dr Marina Palm, Managing Director of the PALM Group.

“The acquisition of the five plants marks an important step in our long-term growth strategy. It allows us to enhance our market presence in key regions and to serve our customers in these regions with local plants,” Dr Marina Palm added.

PALM aims to remain a reliable partner for the existing customers of the five plants – with the trusted local teams, highest product quality, and a reliable service.

PALM warmly welcomes the employees of the five new sites and looks forward to shaping the future of the PALM Group together.
