The German Design Award highlights excellent design and honours outstanding ideas. The “Quick Setup Display Tray” from Packwell GmbH in Monheim has received the “Winner 2024” prize in the “Excellent Product Design Retail” category.
It is a display tray that can be manufactured from different types of corrugated cardboard, and can be set up in less than 3 sec. thanks to a clever folding mechanism. It has no visible open edges, and offers excellent load-bearing capacity due to its double side walls. Thanks to its ingenious construction, almost all of the surfaces – with the exception of the base inside – can be designed with different print variants. The tray can easily be adapted and expanded with level partitions, a base, and different placards.
